ABOUT HELIOS
At ultra high ambient temperatures electric motor design is extremely specialized. The thermal and mechanical characteristics of motor materials become critically important. Conventional organic materials, particularly above 240-300 °C, are no longer suitable. Helios motors are deployed in extreme environments. Helios Principal and electromagnetic designer is Dr Richard Strahan, who has twenty years of motor design experience. He was awarded the 2006 IET Premium (best paper) for IET Proceedings - Electric Power Applications. Helios draws upon highly experienced Associates for mechanical design, and electronic requirements. Helios is located in Christchurch, New Zealand.
OUR SERVICES
